Halloween, candy ‘buy back’ scheme

Halloween is once again just around the corner. Kids will be out trick or treating and the cupboards will be overflowing with sweets! Why not try the ‘parent buy back’ scheme. Give the kids the option of exchanging some or all of their collected candy for non-sugary treats that you know they will love. Such as sticker collections and favourite toys. The excess candy could then be donated to xmas boxes for the armed forces or harvest festival boxes. If you are giving out sweet to kids this year. Just consider some sugar free options. Treats don’t have to be coated in sugar!
